Meghan Haid Sterling, DPT is a Physical Therapist specializing in Women’s Health and Functional Manual Therapy. Her passion is to improve the way women recover from injuries and pregnancy and return to high levels of fitness.
In 2000, she received her BS with honors in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University. In 2006 she completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Northern Arizona University, where she was honored as Outstanding Graduating Scholar.
As co-founder of Making Mom Strong, LLC, she provides online postpartum education and training for women everywhere. She is also the teaching assistant for Physiotherapy New Mexico’s continuing education course “Intervaginal Manipulation- The Internal Work”, where she lectures on birth related pelvic floor trauma and helps educate physical therapists around the country.
Clinically she integrates her advanced training in women’s health, manual therapy, osteopathic manipulation, structure correction and functional training to help her patients meet their goals.
In her specialized, one hour treatments, she works with her patients to address everything from prenatal/postpartum care, incontinence, and pelvic pain, to low back and neck pain, headaches, and anything that physically limits their ability to do what they love.
Meghan has recently relocated from Santa Fe, New Mexico, to Granger with her husband and two sons, where together they enjoy food and wine, travel, cycling, running and reading.
Meghan is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the APTA Section on Women’s Health, the International Pelvic Pain Society, the International Association of Healthcare Practitioners, and the Alpha Eta Society- Devoted to Scholarship in Allied Health.
